With funding from the Beneteau group, CNB developed an innovative modular construction design, allowing the interior of the yacht CNB 76 to be built externally from the hull. The four precisely engineered modules align within millimeters of the three-dimensional design. This method permits the concurrent construction of the hull and interior, reducing the build time to five or six months and resulting in cost savings.
“You normally build a boat from the front aft, so you can only do one section at a time,” Thomas Gailly explained. “This is all built at the same time in plenty of space.” The hull was still empty just one and a half months before launch. “This is why we can build a 76ft yacht in six months – it would normally take a year.”
Like its predecessors, the CNB 64 and Bordeaux 60, the CNB 76 is a large sophisticated cruiser that is competitively priced, luxuriously appointed, and has excellent sailing performance. This is a performance cruiser that lives up to its elegant appearance.
The high quality of the materials and building methods utilized in the creation of CNB Yachts' vessels is among their most remarkable features. Every yacht is constructed with the best materials and the most recent technology to guarantee lifespan, performance, and durability.
There are several rig choices for this model. However, the CNB 76 truly stands out from other models in this size range thanks to its layout. It is as practical and pleasant above decks in this off-cockpit elevated saloon arrangement as it is in its on-deck quarters.

The non-overlapping headset makes sure that the forward-facing guest seating space is safe and enclosed, keeping it clutter-free without sacrificing the boat's performance below decks. One of the main features of the CNB 76 is its exceptionally versatile accommodation, which can accommodate up to nine people in four cabins or seven people in three cabins plus two in the forwardmost cabin.
Alternatively, it's common practice to use the sleeping quarters located at the back of the vessel so that the crew can operate a boat independently from the owner's quarters. The expansive deck saloon offers outstanding visibility, and the electromagnets that secure the sofas in place enhance comfort and safety, when underway, the seating can be reconfigured to construct a single large sofa while docked in port.
The twin cabin to starboard and the double cabin to port make up the main sleeping quarters, which are located forward. Each has access to an ensuite.
The owner's cabin, which has a double berth facing forward, is quite striking. An impression and theme that permeate this ingeniously designed performance cruiser are its creative layout and efficient use of space in a cabin that seems larger than you'd expect when board a 76-footer.
The owner's suite has: a large bookcase, but also shelves for bedside books, a double wardrobe with two large drawers, cupboards along both sides of the hull, and many drawers under the bed.
This yacht is not only a stunning representation of an existing amazing design, but it also has a large inventory all around. CNB 76 has all the newest conveniences and technology available, such as fully functional galleys, air conditioning, and cutting-edge sound systems. While the yacht's enormous and well-designed interior gives a comfortable and opulent living space, the big cockpit area offers plenty of space for outdoor dining and relaxing.
Philippe Briand, a naval architect, created the 23-meter-long luxury yacht known as the CNB 76. It is "maneuverable with a small crew and of reasonable length," according to him. This ocean-going cruiser, with its modular design, includes exclusive crew quarters, opulent VIP rooms, and a panoramic saloon.
The living quarters and the crew cockpit are divided by an external deck that has two helm stations with side seats and an electronic console. Its independence makes it the perfect companion for exploring the oceans of the world, due to simple maneuvering with one person because of its twin wheels and extensive instrumentation, which are located near both steering pedestals.
The CNB 76 boasts a sleek shape thanks to its clean, modern lines. The interior décor of this 21ème is tasteful, timeless, inventive, cozy, sophisticated, and modern. Jean-Marc Piaton was the interior designer. A two-position table that may be used for dining or sunbathing is part of the cockpit, which is situated at the front of the boat and divided from the maneuvering area. A retractable bimini protects This space from inclement weather and intense heat.
The layout of the CNB 76 is inspired by superyacht design. Inside, a large, bright, multi-purpose room has more than two meters of headroom and several windows that provide an amazing panoramic view of the outside even while seated.
Situated near the vessel's bow, the owner's cabin relishes complete seclusion. Light enters the cabin through opening deck hatches and hull portholes. It features a chic, fully furnished bathroom of its own.
The guest cabin features a bathroom of its own and a double bed that can be split into two single sleepers. You may add a third bed too. With two bunk beds—the lower of which can be made into a double bed—the third cabin is perfect for kids.
At the back of the boat is a spacious galley that has direct access to the cockpit. It is outfitted with all contemporary conveniences, and its central island creates a welcoming and open environment.
Situated in the middle of the boat, the engine room is easily reachable from the saloon. It is made to be soundproof and to make managing and maintaining a boat easier. Lastly, a tender measuring 3.85 meters in length can fit within a garage. Thanks to an electric winch system that unfolds the sizable bathing platform at sea level, access takes less than a minute.
The CNB 76 is a reliable and secure boat. Carbon reinforcements are incorporated into the stress zones and hull bottom of the infused composite sandwich that comprises the deck, hull, and structural bulkheads. The design of the hull, featuring a relatively high chine and freeboard, provides a significant amount of stability. This superyacht is enjoyable to sail in rough seas since it is strong and swift. Wide side decks are included in the deck plan to ensure safe navigation. The layout offers a superb balance of surface area between the mainsail and the headsail. The boat features a large fore-triangle due to the aft-positioned mast. Additionally, it comes with an optional lifting keel and a twin rudder system.
Its attention was naturally drawn to the CNB 76 when it was originally introduced. Needless to say, Philip Brandon had pulled it in, but there were other reasons why the 76-footer was so popular. For whatever reason, the CNB 76's above-and below-decks design is a clever one that sets a high standard upon debut and still garners a lot of attention now.
John O’Connor, owner of the CNB 76 Sapphire said about a yacht: "The 76 inspires confidence at her dual helms, each of which has a laminated teak wheel with carbon fiber spokes, a retractable foot brace for added comfort when heeling and an arsenal of Raymarine electronics within arm’s reach. Close-hauled, she felt strong and sturdy, happy to sit on her atypical hard chines and enjoy the ride driven by her powerful mainsail and genoa, which helped us achieve a consistent 10 knots despite an inconsistent 5 to 15 knots of breeze. She was dry and comfortable on all points of sail and responded well to inputs on the helm. Dockside, bow, and stern thrusters with joystick steering simplified maneuvering in tight quarters, making it never too early to uncork the rosé on the way in."
