In addition to the charter price, the following are obligatory: BVI Cruising Tax (€ 3), Search & Sea rescue (€ 5), Preparation fee (€ 450), Handling fees (€ 35). Fuel is paid according to consumption when the boat is returned.

In general, all charters start on Saturday afternoon at 5 PM, and end on the next Saturday at 8AM or 9AM latest.

Lagoon 42 - 4 + 2 cab. "Katja" is available from 3235.50€ per week. The price includes the boat charter with standard equipment; obligatory and optional extras (e.g. comfort package, crew, water toys…) are charged separately.

Chartering a bareboat in the British Virgin Islands does not require a formal skipper's licence; however, everything is easier if you do have a valid sailing licence. Instead, the charter base might ask for proof of recent sailing experience on a similarly sized vessel - this is usually done through a short sailing resume submitted before departure. If your experience doesn't meet their requirements, the base may recommend or require a professional skipper for some or all of your trip.

A refundable security deposit of 6000 is due at check-in. It is returned after the charter, less any damage or missing equipment.

Amounts already paid are subject to each boat’s T&C and the cancellation policy within, depending on the time when you cancel. In general, if you cancel less than 60 days before the trip, no refund is possible. Your payment is forwarded to the charter company operating Lagoon 42 - 4 + 2 cab. "Katja" almost immediately after booking, so any refund depends on their decision, not ours. We will always try to secure one on your behalf, but it cannot be guaranteed. To protect yourself against unforeseen changes, we recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance.
