A town on a small peninsula with a large beach along the crystal-clear sea. A hiking trail leads through the canyon of the Zrnovnica River, which flows into the Stobrec Bay. The settlement has existed since the Roman era, when it was called Epetium. A monastery was built on the remains of an Early Christian basilica. The shallow harbor has a large pier and a small breakwater with a depth of up to 3 m. Boats can only berth at the breakwater, because the pier is occupied. There is a launch ramp. When entering the harbor, care should be taken to avoid a long shoal along the breakwater. Landing is dangerous when the bora blows. The jugo can also be strong.
