Srebreno

A settlement on the northwestern part of the bay with spring; of drinking water. The area is covered with agaves, palm tree: and pine trees, and the beach is sandy. A popular coastal promenade leads to Mlini. Srebreno was first mentioned in 1294. The Benedictine abbe on the islet of Mrkan had an estate here. In the small harbor, boats can berth at a pier and a 100 m long quay with a depth between 2 and 2.5 m. It is exposed to north easterly winds and is unreliable when the bora blows.
