A settlement with a port on the right bank of the Krka River north of Sibenik. The main economic activities are agriculture, wine growing, gardening and tourism. The town is protected as a monument. The Krka National Park Office and the starting point for a tour of its attractions are located here. Organised tourism began to develop in 1960. The lllyrian settlement of Scardona once stood on the site of the present Skradin. In the Roman era it was a municipium and from the 6th century to 1830 the seat of a diocese. Skradin was destroyed by the Avars and the Slavs in 615, and plundered by the Turks in 1522. The remains of Venetian fortifications lie above the town.

ACI MARINA SKRADIN (022) 771-365 - It lies on a bay northwest of the port. There are 210 berths on pontoon docks. The marina is open year round. The greatest depth of the sea is 2 m.
