Catamaran Vs. Monohull
Catamaran has many advantages over a mono-hull. Multi-hulls are definitely more comfortable and spacious this way enabling more privacy during your weekly cruise. Sailing Croatia on a catamaran is far less tiring than sailing on a mono-hull. Catamaran heels only 5 to 10 degrees under full wind, while mono-hull heels up to 45 degrees. While sailing on a catamaran in Croatia you can easily take sunbath, cook, sit and read without getting tired. Because catamarans have a shallow draft (smaller keel) you can go and cruise and anchor in areas that mono-hulls can't get into. The draft on a multi-hull varies from 1 to 4 feet depending on whether it has mini-keels or dagger boards and the size of the catamaran.more
