Our sailors and friends Fabijan Roic and Boris Zizic have won this year's edition of the famous regatta La Cinquecento which is one of the most important regattas for off-shore double-handed racing in the Med. La Cinquecento starts from Caorle, a small town close to Venice in Italy, and goes all the way down south to Tremiti islands near the southern tip of Italian shore and back. All together is 500 nautical miles.

The winner of this regatta takes a title Italian Off-Shore Champion.

Crazy at La Cinquecento

This 50th edition of La Cinquecento our friends Fabijan Roic and Boris Zizic have won 'big-time', by being the absolute winner – they have won it in real-time and also by ORC rules. No one has ever done it like that in the past 50 years, so this deserves special respect for our guys, who were also the youngest crew to compete in this race.

To see more how it was we bring you a short video documentary these guys filmed before and during the race.

Congratulations Boris & Fabijan!
