This is the first time we meet Corto Maltese - a sailor and adventurer, son of a gypsy born without a destiny line on his palm, which he later on carved himself with a knife. The stories told about Corto are works of art both for their amazing artwork and the fantastic stories. Once you start reading about Corto you will forever be looking out for new shores to explore, and new things to experience. We did save the best for last, and Corto is the best it gets.
